Living in Wichita Falls now!

I made it! WOW! Long time no post.... We got here on a day that was 109 degrees, and had a lovely and quite sweaty time moving in all of our stuff. We are still getting the house figured out and getting ourselves settled. The house is cute, meaning small and charming, and was built in 1939, meaning it has some old age wear and tear. Thus we our on a first name basis with the Lowe's people and have been to Walmart more times that I want to count.

But more importantly... I have found a fabulous park, only 2 miles from my home, that has a trail near the river for running/walking/biking. I have heard that it goes 25 miles in and around town so I am planning to check that out as I begin training for my next half-marathon. I am having a wonderful time exploring the park, seeing the duck pond, the waterfull, the heron, the native pecan trees, and the red muddy water in the river. I am able to think and pray and breathe there and it feels so good.

This week, I joined Toastmasters, sent out packets to churches, hung up a flyer at the Christian book store, and met with my new friend Gina for coffee. I am getting up to speed and back on track. I am looking at a cute little office that might be just right for me.....so stay tuned.

Next week, I am heading back to San Antonio to meet with clients, network, and plan for upcoming events with The Purpose People.
